Low in-store inventory, may be subject to change.

Restore proper brush-drive monitoring with the Genuine SEBO 5464 Brush Roller Sensor with Pulley and Screws. This factory OEM sensor assembly is designed for compatible SEBO Automatic X4 and Essential G1/G4 upright vacuums and includes the sensor, pulley, and mounting screws.

This sensor has a YELLOW RING on the pulley for identification. This is an important visual difference between this sensor and the similar sensor used on the wider SEBO Automatic X5. The X5 version has a RED RING. Always check the ring color and vacuum model before ordering.

The sensor is an important part of SEBO's electronically monitored brush-drive system. It monitors brush roller operation and communicates with the vacuum's control electronics, helping the machine recognize conditions such as a jammed brush roller or excessive brush wear.

Yellow Ring vs. Red Ring Sensor

SEBO 5464 has a YELLOW RING and is the sensor used for compatible X4, G1, and G4 upright vacuums.

The similar sensor used on the wider SEBO Automatic X5 has a RED RING and is a different part. The X5 sensor is SEBO Part #5465. These sensors should not be selected by appearance alone.

  • Yellow Ring - Part #5464: X4, G1 and G4 applications
  • Red Ring - Part #5465: X5, G2 and G5 applications

Before You Order

Check the ring color before ordering. SEBO Part #5464 has a YELLOW RING and is used on compatible Automatic X4 and Essential G1/G4 upright vacuums. If you have an Automatic X5, the similar sensor is Part #5465 and has a RED RING. Verify both your vacuum model and ring color before ordering.

LSV Repair Tip

A brush warning light does not automatically mean the sensor has failed. Before replacing the sensor, inspect the brush roller for hair or string, check the brush bristles for excessive wear, and inspect both drive belts and pulleys. A restricted brush roller, worn belt, or damaged drive component can cause the brush monitoring system to indicate a problem.
