The 5129 support lever is located inside the lower cleaner head assembly and works together with the SEBO 5107-1 Support Spring. On compatible machines, the lever and spring form part of the support mechanism where the upper vacuum body connects with the power head.

Support Lever & Spring

The SEBO 5129 Support Lever works together with the 5107-1 Support Spring. SEBO's X Series parts schematic shows these two components directly together in the cleaner head assembly.

If the support lever is damaged, inspect the support spring at the same time. If the spring is bent, weak, broken, or missing, replacing both components may be appropriate.

When replacing the 5129 support lever, inspect the 5107-1 support spring closely. Because the lever and spring work together, a damaged or fatigued spring can prevent the mechanism from operating correctly even after a new support lever is installed.

While the cleaner head is apart, also inspect the nearby motor mounting, motor pulley cover, wiring, and surrounding plastic mounting points for damage.
